What it is

An antifungal vaginal medicine containing clotrimazole 100mg per tablet, used to treat vaginal Candida infection. These tablets are for vaginal insertion only and must not be swallowed.

Recommended for

Adults with candidal vaginal infection. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use, especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if taking other medicines.

How to use

Usual adult dosage: insert 1 tablet deeply into the vagina at bedtime once daily for 6 consecutive days. Follow the package leaflet or your clinician's instructions and complete the recommended course.

Do not use during menstruation or if allergic to the ingredients. Avoid tampons, vaginal douching, cleansers and other vaginal products during treatment. This medicine may weaken latex condoms and diaphragms.

Seek medical advice for fever, lower abdominal pain, foul-smelling discharge, bleeding, irritation or persistent symptoms. Store in the original package, away from moisture, direct sunlight and children. Read the full leaflet before use.
